Marinecraft never made a wide range of power boats - they tended to have a maximum of one or two models representing a class of boats. The 'Flying Spray is a one-off hydroplane. and the 'Silver Dawn' was their big cabin cruiser for much of their existence, though in the late 1960s they produced a couple of fibreglass-hulled cruisers. See the 'Later Boats' for more information. The Silver Dawn displays the usual Marinecraft characteristics - vertical sides, a sharply pointed bow, and makes extensive use of block balsa. The hull base is in 1/2" balsa sheet, and the bulkheads are made up from 1" balsa stock.
